About Me

We are known as PaWingers or just The Wingers by our Geocaching friends. When we found our first cache we had to come up with a name to log the find. We came up with this name simply because of residing in Pa. and because one of our many passions is cruising this beautiful country on our Honda Goldwing. Aside from geocaching we are passionate about most anything outdoors including hiking, kayaking, snowmobiling and biking. We are blessed beyond words with a wonderful son and daughter in law. We're also blessed with some terriffic family and friends. We consider ourselves very fortunate due to the fact that after being married over 40 years we still enjoy these things together.

Having a Blonde Moment

I suppose I need to explain the title of this post because it does tend to be misleading.  The male readers may be getting their hopes up thinking I will be posting images of beautiful blonde females.  Come to think of it, I am.  Then again there may be female readers that are expecting some cheap shots directed at the blonde sector of the female populous.  While it's true that I have been guilty of such childish acts, that won't be the case this time.  I'll save this for another post.

So just what kind of a blonde moment am I referring to, you may be wondering.  Well, in this particular case I would be talking about blonde coyotes.  And to be more specific, we're talking about a blonde female coyote.   Typically when a person mentions coyotes, people cringe and make all kinds of faces, and picture this ugly predator with bloody fangs.  Now I'm not saying that coyotes are the cutest critters in the world but surprisingly my images of this blonde female have gotten some positive comments.  Instead of all the negative remarks I've actually heard people describing this blonde as beautiful.  I've also had people asking if it is a dog.  Well, in a way it is a dog but you don't want one sitting on your lap.

Hope you enjoy these images.

The above image was modified using several different post processing effects.  I just thought it was a neat look for such a mysterious predator.

Beautiful shots! I have a blonde male that I spotted last night in my yard. He was a coywolf, long legged and husky. Most likely a coywolf. He looked healthy and gorgeous. Thanks for posting!
