Winslow Wildlife
We spent the afternoon wandering around Winslow Hill in hopes of getting some good images of wildlife. We spotted some nice big bulls but it was difficult to get close enough for some good pictures. The snow was especially treacherous yet and we didn't want to cause the animals to have to run and risk hurting them. These icy conditions are very hard on wildlife. We watched a flock of turkey as they tried to get down thru the crust in search of food. Once again, we kept our distance to not panic them. We love to get good pictures but won't put the animals at risk for a picture. The deer we saw were making every effort to move as little as necessary. Hopefully the icy crust will soften so the critters can move more easily.
Beautiful images, Tom. I like the detail and colors and the composition is right on. As much as I am tired of winter, these still make me want to be there and see the elk in the snow.
